Hi There! I’m so happy you stopped by! I’m Cassie – Chief Recipe Creator, Food Photographer and Writer of Things around here. I’m passionate about creating healthy recipes that are quick, easy and most importantly TASTY.
I spent years stuck in the habitual diet / EAT ALL THE CRAP / diet loop until I decided enough was enough and gave diets the boot for good. Since then, I’ve enjoyed a balanced diet rich in whole foods as well as the occasional donut and margarita. And I’m all the happier for it!
I believe health is so much more than just a number on some scales. I don’t count calories. I eat carbs. And I’ve maintained a steady healthy weight for over 3 years. So, what’s my secret?
Eating healthy meals that I actually enjoy.
Yes, it really has been as simple as that. You will never find me eating chicken and broccoli, unless of course both ingredients are in a stir-fry with a delicious sauce to match. And I only make friends with delicious salads – no plain and boring garden salads here.

Well I’m glad you asked. I’m 29 and live in Brisbane (QLD, Australia) with my partner, chief taste-tester and tech support Adam!
My interests are tacos, puppy videos, singing loudly and terribly, podcasts, true crime, K-mart, binge-watching Netflix, scrolling through heated comments on FB posts and not cleaning my house (but not in that order).
